Antoaneta Ivanova

Executive Director

Antoaneta Ivanova has been the Executive Director of Karin Dom Foundation since October 1, 2024.

Experience

  • Member of the Board of the “Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus” Association, established by parents in 2011, where she actively participates in organizational activities with children and parents, visual projects, fundraising campaigns, advocacy, and support for new parents.
  • Social worker and mediator in early childhood development services at the Community Center for Children and Families – Varna, where she has been consulting families for the past five years.
  • Involved in the development and implementation of social and educational projects aimed at supporting children from vulnerable groups and their families.
  • Active advocate for children’s rights, part of the team working for the cause of medical nutrition.
  • Chairperson of the Board of the National Network for Children since 2023.
  • One of the first volunteers on the ground during the arrival of refugees from the war in Ukraine in Varna. She organized emergency assistance for refugees in critical condition, mothers with babies, and young children.

  • Qualification in Early Childhood Intervention from Medical University – Varna

  • Special prize “Activist of the Year” from the Bulgarian Helsinki Committee for volunteer work with children and adults, refugees from Ukraine with severe disabilities, 2022.
