The service provides equal access to Karin Dom’s services for children from Varna and across the country. Our goal is to offer quality therapeutic services and involve the family.
Early support for families gives parents confidence that their children will overcome challenges, be better accepted, and develop alongside their peers.
This service is made possible thanks to “Cargill Bulgaria” and “Friends of Bulgaria”.
The programme includes assessment, intensive therapy, and work with the family. Therapeutic services are provided over 5 days at Karin Dom and include an additional individual home programme tailored to the needs of the child and family, with follow-up consultations if necessary.
The programme offers professional services for children with various conditions – motor and intellectual difficulties, generalized developmental disorder, social and emotional challenges, who are at risk of developmental delay or atypical behaviour.
The one-week therapy programme supports families in coping with daily challenges and the future inclusion of the child in kindergarten and school. Consultations are provided by a team of highly qualified specialists: clinical psychologists, speech therapists, rehabilitation therapists / physiotherapists, occupational therapists, special educators, and social workers. Parents and close family members actively participate in the therapeutic sessions with the child. The family receives an individual home programme with recommendations on how parents can support the child and successfully manage everyday life.
