Seek Professional Support
The purpose of a one-off consultation is the early identification of delays or deviations in your child’s development, to determine their strengths, and to assess whether additional support is needed.
The consultation is carried out by highly qualified specialists – our team includes physiotherapists, rehabilitation therapists, speech and language therapists, psychologists, special educators, and social workers.

We will contact you within 5 working days after submitting the online request to schedule the consultation.

During the consultation, we will assess the child’s development and suggest ideas to stimulate the child.

If additional support is needed, we will discuss the options together.
The consultation is not a diagnosis.
During the consultation, parents share their concerns about their child’s development. Specialists observe and assess the child and provide guidance to the family on managing daily challenges related to the child’s specific needs – positioning, self-care, feeding, communication, play, and behaviour.
No diagnosis is made during the consultation. If necessary, the child is referred to a medical specialist for diagnostic clarification and ongoing monitoring. If the team assesses that the child requires it, they may be referred to receive specialised support at Karin Dom or another therapy centre.

Payment
To be able to support more children through the service, the management of Karin Dom has introduced the option of paid consultations for children whose funding is insufficient. A one-off consultation with our team is charged according to the fees approved by Karin Dom.
