Therapeutic groups for children and parents

Family-mediated groups for children aged 2 to 6 years

Why is Family-Mediated Intervention (FMI) a successful therapeutic model?

  • Provides support for the family based on family routines and rituals.
  • Teaches parents skills to support their children – development of sensory-motor, motor, and social skills, as well as functional communication.
  • Involves the whole family – parents are empowered and gain practical skills to apply at home.

This approach contributes to achieving therapeutic goals and creates sustainable change in the lives of families.

My son and I attend the ‘Sun’ group. The parent training is extremely useful and provides strong mutual support for us, parents of children with disabilities.

Natalia, mother of Viktor

In one year, Valeria has made significant progress in motor skills, concentration, and social interaction. We are grateful for the opportunity for parents to participate actively in the learning process.

Violeta, mother of Valeria

The group is invaluable for parent education. With the help of the specialists, we feel supported and more confident in dealing with challenges.

How the enrollment process works

01Getting to know your child

During the first meeting, specialists observe the child in a prepared environment.

02Understanding your family’s needs

Together, we discuss the child’s difficulties and the family’s needs.

03Welcoming you to the group

If there are available spots, you will be invited to join the group.
