As a consultant in the “Early Intervention” service, Nergis (Neri) takes on cases of the youngest children and babies at risk of developmental delays, including premature or low birth weight infants, children delayed in areas such as motor or cognitive development, or those with diagnosed conditions. During home visits, she applies a family-oriented approach, working together with parents to achieve better outcomes for the children. Neri also leads a playgroup for children aged 0 to 3 years, which supports socialisation and integration of the child into mainstream childcare settings.

She participates in meetings outside Varna to inform and support children, their families, and specialists from therapeutic centres and kindergartens. Her professional interests include early childhood development and care, neuroplasticity of the child’s brain, primitive reflexes, and the family-oriented approach.

  • Master’s degree in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation in Pediatrics, National Sports Academy “Vasil Levski”, Sofia
  • Specialisation in Rehabilitation, Medical University “Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov”, Varna
