Visiting the Zoo

The children of Karin Dom were invited to visit the Varna Zoo under the project “Sunny Flowers – Happy Together”. The initiative is by Magdalena Todorova, Ana Vasileva, Olga Dobreva, students from VFU “Chernorizets Hrabar”-Varna and it one of 12 ideas, approved for realization under Karin Dom’s project “Ambassadors of Good”.

The students, majoring in psychology proposed to introduce to animals to the children and to tell them all about them – where each animals comes from, what does it eat and to draw it. The children took a walk around Varna Zoo where they took pictures for memories and together with the project’s participants, colored patterns of different animals. The students’ goals is for the children to take part in creating a zoo-drawing and for each child to color animals and put them in cardboard.

With the “Ambassadors of Good” initiative, Karin Dom wants to motivate volunteering and philanthropy among students. Their activity and engagement with social causes. Karin Dom Foundation is an organization with rich experience in working with volunteers and has the goal of supporting the ideas of young people for changing society, in direction of children with special needs.
