For us, Baba Marta is a special holiday that we want to share with all of you! We invite you again to join the Martenichka Campaign of Karin Dom and support us! All martenitsas are handmade, mostly with natural materials and with great diligence to make you happy and contribute to the pleasant atmosphere of your favorite holiday.

MARTENICKA WITH A CAUSE

By supporting our Martenichka Campaign, you will support Karin Dom to purchase specialized equipment that supports all modern methods of working with children with special needs for its new therapeutic center, the construction of which we are already finalizing.

Despite the many unforeseen situations that 2021 offered us, we can happily and proudly report that the construction of our new therapeutic complex continues according to plan and on schedule. This is largely due to our partners, who lent us a hand in this important moment and supported our efforts with the necessary materials, and to our donors and citizens who are involved in our fundraising initiatives.

The new building aims to create an environment for early childhood development, knowledge sharing and shared space for families, volunteers and professionals. It will offer more services as well as more comprehensive ones for children and families across the country to support their daily lives and the inclusion of children in kindergartens and schools. The building will combine various functions – physiotherapy and hydrotherapy, early intervention center, Montessori center, diagnostic rooms, individual and group therapy, multisensory and sensorimotor room, medical center, training halls and administrative part, playground and green areas.

The financing of the construction of this new building is provided to Karin Dom by Velux Foundations, and the land is provided by the Municipality of Varna. In order to carry out the planned successful completion of the new Center, it is necessary to provide additional funds. In this regard, Karin Dom is looking for partners and organizes charity campaigns to support the purchase of the necessary specialized equipment and furniture for the new building.

HOW TO SUPPORT US?

• Companies that plan to bring joy to their partners, customers or employees with a traditional handmade martenitsa, can support us by buying martenitsas;

• If you are planning a charity initiative or bazaar for Baba Marta, you can contact us and join the cause of Karin Dom;

• By volunteering to make martenitsas on site at Karin Dom or in your office with your colleagues if your company’s policy encourages volunteer initiatives.

OUR ART WORKSHOPS FOR GOOD MOOD

Due to the increasing work from home practices of companies, we are also working on online workshops for employees.

The workshops are suitable for overcoming isolation, stimulating teamwork, as well as raising the mood and motivation of employees. It’s also a lot of fun.

GREETING CARDS

We offer you a choice of three fun cards “Happy Baba Marta” with an attractive design by Steli Chakarova, with which you can bring joy to friends and partners. The cards: “Yarn”, “Baba Marta” and “Pijo and Penda” are 10/15 cm in size and have a different wish on the back. They can be packed individually along with a martenitsa of your choice. Price per card: BGN 2 per piece.

OUR MARTENICKAS

We make extremely attractive various types of bracelet martenitsas. Even we can’t make them all the same. We use natural materials and wooden elements. Each martenitsa has its own pattern and character. You can choose traditional bracelet martenitsas, martenitsas made using the wool felting technique and brooches made of yarn. We also offer fun temptations: candy brooches and Bubble Gum badges, specially designed for the more eccentric friends of Baba Marta, who want to bring a touch of humor to the tradition and have fun at any time.

The martenitsas can be individually packaged with a Karin Dom label. We can also make martenitsas in а model of your choice.

• Martenitsas can be delivered throughout the country via Econt or you can pick them up on site from Karin Dom in Varna.
• We can also deliver company orders to an office within city limits.

• You will soon be able to find our martenitsas in some restaurants in Varna.
