Two days before Earth Day, we invite you to Upcycle / Recycle picnic to discuss how to reduce waste and use of paper, plastic and food in an urban environment. Karin Dom will host this exciting event where experienced people will share affordable, environmentally-friendly techniques that can be used in everyday life.

You will find it very easy to be ECO!

11.00 – 11.30 Paper
Nedko Nedkov will present the history of the paper, the appearance of the book, works of art made of handmade paper and how to create paper.
Campaign Sheet by Sheet or How to Save a Tree.

12.00 – 13.00 Kitchen without waste
Jordan Krastev from Embrace the chef will share experience on how to reduce food waste.
Presentation of non-waste cooking.
Elitsa by Barbrand will tell us how she almost replace traditional plastics and detergents in the bar using the nature-friendly.

13.00 – 14.00 Composting in urban conditions
We will talk and share experiences about easy recycling techniques for food waste – on a terrace, in the kitchen or in the yard.
Types of composers and techniques.
How to make a compost.

14:00 – 15:00 Plastic
Sabina Maximova from ZERA solutions for zero waste and reusable will share common misconceptions about plastic.

15.00- 16.00 Bobo Bermundo and detachment “Pepper” – Children’s novel for reading, planting and eating!
Darina Dimitrova from Plantaboo team will present this unique book, made entirely of eco-friendly materials that are environmentally friendly.
