We Welcomed the Month of October with a Glass of Wine and Friends in the Garden of Karin Dom
On October 1st, we celebrated the most festive day of the year:) On this date is the World Day of Music, Poetry, Elderly People, Architects is celebrated, but it is also the European Day of Foundations and Donors. We are happy that on this very day we welcomed partners and friends with a glass of wine and good music in our beautiful garden. We believe in business and are sure that a better future for children is our common cause and aspiration.
Our guests were representatives of leading companies in the region that support Karin Dom and promote the development of Varna and the Municipality of Varna, which recognized and supported the project, donating a plot of land for the construction of Karin Dom’s new therapeutic and training center.
During the cocktail party, we talked about the project and construction of the new therapeutic center of Karin Dom, our future plans and partnership opportunities. We introduced a new concept of therapeutic and health services for children and families.
The cocktail was opened by Mrs. Borislava Cherkezova, executive director of Karin Dom, the chief architect of Varna – Viktor Buzev and Veselina Vasileva, coordinator of the project for the construction of a new building.

With meetings and events, we aim to give focus to the essential importance of giving as a culture and a way of life, and a valuable tool to support meaningful, sustainable social and other causes that benefit the community in the long term.

About Karin Dom’s new therapeutic and training center:
At the beginning of the year, Karin Dom started its long-standing project and dream – construction of a new building for a therapeutic and training center. The organization’s plans are to finalize the construction and completely relocate the activity next year. Karin Dom has ambitious plans to create an extremely functional therapy space for children with special needs and a modern training center supporting specialists.
The total area of the building is 2,850 square meters and consists of one underground level for garage and storage, three above-ground levels and a roof terrace. The building will combine a variety of functions: physiotherapy and hydrotherapy, an early intervention center, a Montessori center and a children’s demonstration kitchen, a toy library, diagnostic rooms, individual and group therapy, a sensory hall, a medical center, training rooms, an administrative area, an inner courtyard with two playgrounds. Construction is proceeding at a rapid pace, and the plans are for the building to be ready at the beginning of 2022.
For the furniture and specialized equipment, Karin Dom relies exclusively on businesses and individual donors.
