Karin Dom Celebrates 27 Years with Children’s Party and Entertainment

Dear friends, we are very happy to be able to invite you again to celebrate together in Karin Dom.

Welcome to our 27th birthday party!

We begin at 10:00 am with the Children’s Party, where the children will tell us a story and dance to the sounds of Karin’s music box.

Summary of the past year 2022

Karin Dom team conducted 3,955 therapeutic sessions, 1,533 social counselling sessions, 714 home visits to the youngest children aged 0-3 years, and integration activities for more than 525 Ukrainian refugee children. More than 2,039 participants attended the training events of Karin Dom. In 2022, Karin Dom is working on the implementation of 11 projects for which it is a beneficiary. Thanks to project activities, partners and donors, we were able to expand our activities, enrich the services offered and complete the equipment of the new centre.

Twenty-seven years later, Karin Dom has a story to tell about what it is like to work to change hearts, minds, and lives. How one man’s dream and belief, Ivan Stanchov, grew into a community for which no dream is impossible.

A little bit of history

On June 22, 1996 Karin Dom was officially opened by President Zhelyu Zhelev and its founder Ivan Stancioff. For 26 years, the activities of the organization developed in the family villa of the Stancioff family in the Sea Garden of Varna.

In 2022, Karin Dom was able to realize a long-standing dream of designing and building a modern therapeutic complex, which opened its doors in September and enabled the team to offer more services for children and their families under one roof.
