An amazing evening for an amazing person

On 12th of October in the Bulgarian embassy in London Mr. Ivan Stancioff was awarded the title of Association of Bulgarian Schools Abroad (ABUCH) honorary member.

This is a part of the address which Aglika Markova wrote for Mr. Stancioff:

I am thankful to you for letting me work with you.
I am thankful to you for expanding my horizon more than you suspect.
I am thankful to you for showing us how much easier it is to smile and understand, instead of blame.
I am thankful to you for showing us how to merrily pass through this serious life.
I am thankful to you for dancing with each one of us instead of acting as if you are untouchable.
I am thankful to you because every time when in the embassy we were demonstrating our traditional Bulgarian skepticism, saying “No, this can not be done”, you said “Let’s see how it can be done”.
I am thankful to you because every time when we said “I am going to Bulgaria”, you said “I am going home to Bulgaria” instead.
I am thankful to you for not showing any signs of superiority.I am thankful to you for being our inspiration.
