Karin Dom with Three Awards from the Sofia Cup Adapted Swimming Tournament for Children

🏊‍♀️We have wonderful news, we are happy and very proud of the worthy and exciting performance of our children in the first participation in the SOFIA CUP Adapted Swimming Tournament, organized by ParaKids. 103 children from Sofia, Plovdiv, Gabrovo, Varna, Stara Zagora, Razlog and Blagoevgrad took part in the competition and tested their strength in the pool.

💝Our wonderful champions are:

🏆Samuil Kostov 8 years old – 1^st place

🏆Karina Krasteva, 12 years old – 3^rd place

🏆Lachezar Penev, 13 years old – 4^th place

All three participated in the 25m freestyle routine. Their coaches are Patrisia Eftimova and Mariyan Shterev. Colleague Teodora Dimitrova, a kinesitherapist with many years of experience in working with children with special needs at Karin Dom, also joined the organization of the participation.

💝What better gift for the children and for all of us than this wonderful experience. We congratulate the winners and their families and wish them to continue to delight us with many more sports successes!

The event is supported by the Sofia 2018 Foundation – European Capital of Sports and Sofia Municipality and it marks the International Day of People with Disabilities!
