On April 15, the 45th online meeting of the National Council of the State Agency for Child Protection was held. From 2020 Karin Dom is an official member of the national council, supporting and participating in the development of policies for children’s rights in the country. During the meeting El. Lilova, M.D., welcomed Karin Dom for the foundation’s contribution to the development of early childhood intervention services and our innovative Center for Family-Mediated Intervention. Virtually, the team from Karin Dom was presented with the distinguishing mark of the State Agency for Child Protection “I guarantee a happy childhood”.

We also congratulate the State Agency for Child Protection on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of its establishment, the efforts made for a happy childhood for every child and an environment that guarantees the rights of every child. We look forward to the launch of the first Children’s White Paper – a document on the achievements of the past 10 years and the current challenges facing children’s policies.

We wish all colleagues and members of the National Council to the State Agency for Child Protection to be healthy and together, guided by the love for children, to make the necessary changes for their benefit. Before the National Council to the State Agency for Child Protection is the responsible task of giving guidelines for the implementation of the European Union Strategy for the Rights of the Child 2021-2024. An extremely important and valuable visionary document, prepared on the basis of consultations with over 10 thousand children from all over the world, including Bulgaria.
