The second edition of the Smile “Karin Dom” family festival will take place in Varna this autumn!

Once again this year we will dive into the charity Smile “Karin Dom” Festival, we will send our message for plenty of smiles, goodness and happy childhood for all children.

We are inviting you and your family on September 23, 24 and 25 from 10:00 to 22:00 at Karin Dom’s sunny garden!

Just after the start of the new school year we will have the opportunity to enjoy crafts and farmer’s markets, live music, many workshops for the kids, raffles, games and many more surprises. We expect the event to attract a lot of people from Varna, tourists and guests to our city for the long weekend giving them the opportunity to combine the visit to our beautiful city with the fun activities that our autumn festival can offer.

All raised funds will be used for the therapy of the children at Karin Dom.

Last school year we managed to raise 29 000BGN. Thanks to the Festival we opened two new groups – “Smile” – for children with complex and intensive support needs and group “Little+” – for children with communication difficulties and from the autistic spectrum as an additional service to the “Early Intervention” program.

The mission of the Smile “Karin Dom” Festival is to begin the new school year with a smile and at the same time to not forget the challenges that families of children with special needs in Bulgaria are facing.

The Festival is the result of the team effort of the people of Varna and is one of the few charity festivals in Bulgaria, held on such a vast scale. From its first edition it became one of the three best charity events for 2015 at the international competition for events Eventex in the category “Best Fundraising Event”.

We are expecting even more exciting and full of fun second edition of the Festival. All the people of Varna and guests of our city can enjoy the rich program and the performances of Maria Ilieva, Grafa, P.I.F. and Tutrutka on Saturday night.

The festival organizers have thought about fun activities for all family members. Smile “Karin Dom” will be the most lively and fun place in Varna during the long weekend. Don’t forget to bring friends!
