The trainee academy is intended for: students of speech therapy, special pedagogy, psychology, pedagogy, social work, rehabilitation, kinesitherapy, occupational therapy, accounting and marketing, who are in the 4th year of their studies or have completed a major in the last 3 years, who do not work on a full-time employment contract.
Objectives of the Trainee Academy
Duration
Enrollment in the Trainee Academy begins on March 5, and the enrollment and sending of motivation letters and documents should be done by March 22. 10 to 15 applicants will be approved. The duration of the Trainee Academy is from April 1 to August 10, 2024. Trainee engagement is 160 work hours for a full training course.

Approval in the program
The candidate approved by the commission must confirm availability for attendance in the period March-July for 160 hours (if admitted to the end of the program) and sign a training contract for acquiring knowledge and skills, and for participation in the internship program.

TRAINING AND MENTORING TEAM
The program is managed by Nikoleta Yoncheva, doctor of speech therapy, who is an auditory-speech rehabilitator and trainer. Her professional interests are in the areas of communication, eating and drinking, sign language, early childhood development and family-mediated intervention.
TRAINING PROGRAM
First module from April 1 to June 1, includes 90 hours
Interim evaluation of the acquired knowledge and skills of the trainees June 3 – 7
Selection of trainees to continue in the second module. Selection is made through a written essay and feedback from each trainee’s trainers and mentors.
Second module practical work with customers and users period June 10 – August 10 for 70 hours
Trainees selected to continue in the Second Module will be involved with independent tasks and activities under the supervision of their mentor or other experienced specialist in the specific field. Again under the conditions above. There are 8 weeks of at least 2 or 3 attendance days of three hours each, and they should have at least 70 astronomical hours.
Completion of the Traineeship Academy
At the end of the training, trainees who have completed the first stage or the entire training will receive a certificate, respectively: Trainees who have completed the first module receive a certificate for 90 extra hours of training.
Trainees who completed the entire “Trainee Academy” receive certificate for 160 hours.
