The biggest charity event in Varna – Festival “Smile, Karin Dom” managed to raise BGN 34 558 for the treatment of children with special needs

We thank you sincerely for being back together at the Festival “Smile, Karin Dom”! We gathered together again – participants, guests, partners, donors and volunteers in the name of one cause – the children.

The festival, which turned into a favourite event of Varna, filled for the fourth consecutive year the garden of Karin Dom and managed to provide BGN 34 558 for the therapy of children with special needs in Karin Dom.

The event, which took place on 15th and 16th September, was visited by more than 5 000 citizens and guests of the city, who enjoyed the whole weekend with talented musicians, master chefs, had the opportunity to visit exhibitors’ stands with craftsmen creations, bioproducts and healthy foods. For the full time of families, the festival offered a rich entertainment program for children, paying special attention to educational, culinary and art activities.

And this year, the mission of the festival was to start the new school year with a smile, while calling on the society to be more tolerant to children with special needs and to better understand the difficulties faced by their families.

The event is one of the biggest charity events in Varna and is organized in support of the therapy of children with special needs in Karin Dom and particularly in support of the “Smile” group, which was established and financed for the fourth year of the funds collected from the festival.

Together – chefs, farmers, craftsmen, artists, donors and volunteers, we managed to raise BGN 34 558 in support of the “Smile” group. This is a group that has no equivalent in Varna and even in the country where support, therapy and training receive children with complex and intensive needs and which gives a chance for a better future for these children. Without you, the festival would not make sense! Thank you! Thank you for the smiles and the moments spent together in the garden of Karin Dom.
