“Smile, Karin Dom” Festival awaits partners and participants for their fourth edition

For the fourth consecutive year, the sunny garden of Karin Dom will become a fabulous place for entertainment for the whole family to welcome guests to the “Smile, Karin Dom” Festival.

The festival has already become one of the most significant charity events in Bulgaria, bringing together the people of Varna around the cause of Karin Dom, and in particular, our group for children with complex and intensive support needs – “Smile”.

This year’s dates are 15th and 16th September and the desire is again the festival to become a celebration on the occasion of sending a carefree vacation and welcoming the school year with a smile.

In order for the cause to be successful again and to raise the necessary funds for the therapeutic programs, Karin Dom expects partners, participants and volunteers to support this great charity event.

The festival provides opportunities for every citizen of Varna to help the cause. Companies wishing to join can do so through our philanthropy and corporate social responsibility programs developed by our team.

The event will again offer a picnic and barbecue area, craft beer, farm and craft market, children’s workshops and an open-air stage with live music.

Anyone with talent in different crafts can apply for a hand-crafted booth, and our children’s area will bring together attractive educational, musical, art, culinary and even workshops for preschool and school-age children. Volunteers of all ages are welcome to join the festival days, for which they will also receive a Certificate.

Last year’s edition of “Smile” was able to collect the sum of 39 428 leva, thanks to visitors, participants and donors, which helped us to continue the therapeutic work with children with special needs in the “Smile” group.

Karin Dom is a center for therapy of children with special needs, created by the famous diplomat and philanthropist Ivan Stanchov, with the mission to become one of the most modern places where these families receive timely and qualified therapy and support. Since then, for 22 years now, Karin Dom has been working mainly with civil and private support, with the help of benefactors and followers.
