In connection with the expansion of its activities, Karin Dom Foundation is looking to expand its Communications Specialist team.

Responsibilities:

• Creating content for social networks
• Maintenance and development of communication channels and newsletter management
• Design of events, organization, participation in campaigns and fundraising initiatives of Karin Dom
• Communication with partners of the organization
• Project communication

Requirements:

• Higher economic or humanitarian education
• Very good command of English
• Excellent computer literacy
• Excellent language literacy
• Experience in such a position is an advantage
• Creative thinking and desire to perform various tasks
• Communication and teamwork skills, motivation to work in NGOs, precision and attention to detail

About the Karin Dom Foundation

Karin Dom Foundation is a non-governmental organization, which since 1996 started its work as a Center for Social Rehabilitation and Integration of Children with Special Needs. Karin Dom’s mission is to support the inclusion of children with special needs and their families through professional services, support and raising public awareness. The team of specialists of Karin Dom consists of 55 people and annually supports over 300 children and families from Varna and the country. The main activities are therapy and rehabilitation, early intervention and integration, training and advocacy, we encourage volunteering.

At the beginning of the year, Karin Dom launched its long-term project – construction of a new building for a therapeutic and training center. The plans of Karin Dom are that next year the construction will be finalized and the activity of the organization will be completely moved.

Through this long-term investment, Karin Dom aims to:

• Create an environment for early childhood development that supports more children and families
• Provide comprehensive services for children with special needs and their families to support their successful inclusion
• Create a learning space for children, parents, students and professionals
• Establish a center for knowledge exchange and research
• Designs a venue for events and campaigns
