Karin Dom on Wheels around the World and in Our Country

On January 31, 2024, Karin Dom specialists held a free online consultation for parents on the topic “From birth to kindergarten: The first 3 years of a child’s life.” The meeting was led by qualified therapists and early childhood development consultants – psychologist, speech therapist, rehabilitator, special teacher. The event was organized under the Karin Dom on Wheels project, financed by the Karl Kahane Foundation, which aims to reach families all over Bulgaria.

Topics such as why play and interaction between children and parents are important, how to prepare the environment in which children play, how and when to remove the pacifier and start potty training, and feeding and sleeping in young children were discussed.

46 parents from over 15 settlements, including London, took part in the meeting. All registrants had the opportunity to ask questions both beforehand and during the event. Many of the participants shared that the topics and advice presented were extremely useful to them and that they look forward to similar meetings in the future.
