HE the ambassador of U.S. James Warlick visited Karin Dom on July 22, 2011, with his family – his 18-year-old daughter, Ms. Jordan Warlick and his wife, U.S. Ambassador to Serbia, HE Mary Warlick.
At the same time in Karin Dom on a visit was also the Ambassador of Ireland – HE John Rowan, with his family.
The two ambassadors planted trees in the garden of Karin Dom. Ambassador Warlick planted American tulip tree, and Ambassador Rowan planted an Amber tree. New additions to the garden of Karin Dom will help save biodiversity and will bring its cool shade in summer outdoor play.
Karin Dom continues the tradition ambassadors from different countries to plant trees in the garden, where children with special needs can play. His contributions have made together with ambassadors of Spain H.E. Jorge Fuentes and Norway H.E. Tove Skarstein as well as donors and OMV – fruit trees, Evksinograd Erika company and others. In support of the garden, which actively involves the founder of Karin Dom – Mr. Ivan Stancioff involved volunteers from Bulgaria and abroad, and donors – Petreko Bulgaria, SG Express and others.
This turns the garden into a summer oasis of messages for eco-education and development charity culture. For Karin Dom it is a noble expression of trust and faith in the work of the center – support for children with special needs and their families.
Karin Dom is the only organization working with children with special educational needs, which is Eco school and awarded “Green Flag”.
