First Social Skills Through Play Training – April 28

Karin Dom invites you to an on-site training on First Social Skills Through Play.

Target: This training is suitable for professionals who work in social service complexes for young children and families

Different aspects of a child’s social, emotional, physical and cognitive development are manifested during play.

Participants will gain knowledge about how we can participate in children’s play, guide them and what to teach them. What makes play more complex and enriching? To answer these and other questions, we look at play from two angles – as a social phenomenon and based on the child’s cognitive development.

Participants will acquire knowledge and skills for organizing and conducting a play group with the participation of children, parents and specialists. By playing in a group, children develop motor skills, learn to share a common space, common toys, follow rules, wait their turn, cooperate. They learn it effortlessly while having fun. Through joint play, parents can get to know their children’s world better and to better understand their feelings and actions. Parents communicating with each other create acquaintances, exchange information, experience and ideas. The habits acquired in the groups are transferred by the children to other everyday life situations – at home, on the playground, in the day care center.
