Karin Dom Received an Award for Overall Contribution

On June 13 and 14, 2019, in Varna, the National Alliance for Social Responsibility (NASO), together with partners and friends, solemnly celebrated its 10th anniversary. Within the framework of the forum, jubilee national awards of NASO were also presented. To our great joy, Karin Dom received an award for “Overall Contribution to the Development of National Partnerships, Social Policies and Services in Bulgaria”. The speaker at the forum was also the executive director of Karin Dom – Maya Doneva, who took part in the panel “Good Practices for Europe and Bulgaria”, with the topic: “Intersections between Social Entrepreneurship, Social Innovations and Services”.

The winner of the great jubilee national award of the Alliance in the Municipalities category is the Municipality of Varna. The statuette was accepted by the mayor, Mr. Ivan Portnich. He also received an individual award for personal merit and in recognition of the fruitful partnership with the Alliance. A plaque was presented to the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Policy for the meaningful partnership with the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy. A statuette was also given to Mr. Zelderlo as a gesture of gratitude for the long-standing and fruitful partnership of NASO and EASPD.

The celebration of the anniversary of the organization was honored by the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Policy Sultanka Petrova, the Secretary General of EASPD – Luke Zelderlo, the Chairman of the State Agency for Child Protection – Dr. Eleonora Lilova, the Executive Director of the National Association of Municipalities in the Republic Bulgaria – Mrs. Silvia Georgieva, deputy. the executive director of ASP – Maya Vasileva, representatives of state institutions, municipalities in Bulgaria, numerous social services, non-governmental organizations, employers, universities, etc.
