Karin Dom offers undergraduate internships and study practices for students from different disciplines – physical therapy, social work, psychology, speech therapy, special education and others. The future specialists have the opportunity to learn about modern methods and approaches for working with children with special needs and to get a piece of the experience that Karin Dom has.
Students learn about the principles of working with children and how service provision for children is organized; they get to know the process of planning and conducting the therapy. The opportunity for observation and inclusion in individual and group work activities with children, in real work environment, greatly improves the study process for our interns. Our goal is to aid and encourage the practical training of the students.
Karin Dom also offers individual internships for specialists in different fields, that are a good opportunity for gaining practical experience. The internship programs are part of our licensed training center and an administrative fee is due. For each student, we prepare a program according to his/hers specialty and the internship is led under the supervision and with the help of a mentor – one of Karin Dom’s specialists. After the end of the undergraduate internship, students receive an official note stating the amount of hours and the activities in which they took part.

Wonderful young people, dedicated entirely to their work. I felt like part of Karin Dom’s big family. I had the opportunity to observe how to work with children in practice – art therapy, Montessori education, physiotherapy…
