Cargill

Cargill’s partnership with Karin dom started at the beginning of 2016 with support for the “Early Childhood Development and Preparation for School” project for children between four to seven years of age from across the country.

The program offers services to children with special needs to help improve their motor proficiency and overcome intellectual, social and emotional difficulties.

The aim of the project is to offer equal access to quality social services to families from throughout the country.

The five-day program supports the inclusion of the children in kindergartens and schools. The services in this project are carried out by highly qualified specialists: clinical psychologists, speech therapists, physiotherapists, teachers, pediatrician and social workers. Parents attend the sessions with their children, and families receive an individual homework program with recommendations on how to support their children in their everyday lives

Through this early support, families become more confident that their children will better cope with challenges at school, feel more included and grow up together with their peers.
