Vladislava joined the Karin Dom team in 2009. For two years, she worked with children with motor difficulties attending the Therapy Centre. In 2011, after training in early intervention conducted at Karin Dom, she became part of the team for the newly launched \u201cEarly Intervention\u201d service. In the same year, Vladislava participated in an exchange of experience in Connecticut, USA, organised by the State Early Childhood Services Program. There, she became acquainted with the practice of home visits, visited complementary services for young children and families, and observed the work of her physiotherapist colleagues at Hartford Children\u2019s Hospital.<\/p>\n

She has experience as a consultant in the \u201cEarly Intervention\u201d service at Karin Dom, where Vladislava takes on cases of the youngest children and babies. Many of these children are referred to the service by Karin Dom\u2019s partners from the two state maternity hospitals in Varna. This naturally developed her interest and focus on working with premature babies, as well as children with various syndromes and conditions affecting early childhood development. During home visits, she applies a family-oriented approach, which helps her work jointly with parents to achieve better outcomes for the children. Many of these children have overcome developmental delays and caught up with their peers by the time they leave the programme.<\/p>\n

Since 2015, Vladislava has also been involved in playgroups and family-mediated intervention groups at Karin Dom. Since 2021, Vladislava is a certified occupational therapist.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n
