Upcomming training: Therapeutic methods and approaches used with children with special needs. July 22-24

Dear colleagues,

We want to invite you to the upcoming training on the topic of “Therapeutic methods and approaches used with children with special needs. The experience of Karin Dom.”

22, 23, 24th of July 2015 at the conference room of Karin Dom, Varna.

The training will have practical direction – you will get the opportunity to participate in discussions, to role play and work in small groups, to apply what you have learned to cases of your practice. Together, we will review and discuss photo and video materials of different therapeutic approaches, used by Karin Dom.

As a result of the training you will:

• recieve information about approaches and methods that showed results in Karidn Dom’s practice and are used in individual and group sessions with children with cerebral palsy, intensive and complex needs of support, children with ASD, Down Syndrome and other
• exercise the preparation of individual plans and programs for therapy for the children, by using the SMART rule
• learn how to effectively work with the parents by applying the family–centered approach

The topic is suitable for:  professionals who work with children with special needs – speech therapists, psychologists, special teachers, rehabilitators, ergotherapists, preschool and elementary schoold teachers as well university students with the same majors.

At the end of the training you will receive certificate for your participation.
