Down Syndrome International presents the Global Video Event “Let us in!” made in partnership with Down syndrome groups from 45 countries.
Monday, March 21st, 2011, marks the 6th anniversary of World Down Syndrome Day. Each year the voice of people with Down syndrome, and those who live and work with them, grows louder. Individuals, families, professionals, groups, and organisations all over the World are getting ready to celebrate and raise awareness of Down syndrome.
“World Down Syndrome Day takes place on 21 March every year. This date (21/3) represents the 3 copies of chromosome 21, which is unique to people with Down syndrome.“
