Training Invitation: Sensory-motor Activities. Stimulating Children in Kindergarten, at School and at Home – 20-21 July

We invite you to join the training on “Sensory-motor activities. Stimulating children in kindergarten, at school and at home” on 20-21 July. Topic approved by the Ministry of Education, approved by Order No. RD09-1714 / 11.08.2020 of the Minister of Education and Science.
When: 20-21 July 2023 from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm.
Where: Karin Dom, 86 A Tsar Osvoboditel Blvd., Varna
For whom: the training is suitable for teachers, resource teachers, speech therapists, physiotherapists, kinesitherapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, assistants, parents.
Duration: 16 hours (actual attendance) and carries 1 credit.
Completion: Test and Test and Certificate of Completed Training with 1 qualification credit or Certificate for non-teaching professionals
Fee: BGN 200
Description: the programme contains topics that are interrelated and complementary so as to give the learners as complete a picture as possible of the nature of sensorimotor activities, their necessity and benefits, the methods and approaches used during their implementation. During the training, cases from practice that can serve as examples in the actual practice of the participants are examined, experiences are exchanged and answers for specific cases are reached in a team manner.
Emphasis is placed on the following topics:
- Sensory-motor activities – structure, methods and approaches;
- Communication with the child during sensorimotor activities;
- Sensory stimulation through play at home or in kindergarten, school;
- Reasons for tiptoeing and appropriate corrective exercises;
- Specifics in stimulating development in children on the autism spectrum through movement, elements of sport and exercise;
- Tips for building children’s own experiences and functional skills and how to share them effectively with parents;
- Sensory-motor activities and their place in inclusive education – opportunities and challenges;
- How and what to equip a room or space with for sensory-motor activities;
- Adaptation and support for children and families based on close observation.
