Call for Online Presentation of “Cascading Learning Handbook for Building Supportive, Inclusive Environments”

29 April 2021

INVITATION

for online presentation of

Cascading Learning Handbook for Building Supportive, Inclusive Environments in Kindergartens

For whom: The invitation to present the Handbook is open to principals, pedagogical advisors, coordinators of the inclusive education process or other pedagogical staff in kindergartens across the country.

When: 18 May 2021, from 14:00 to 15:30 online on the ZOOM platform

Our project idea: Our desire is to support motivated kindergartens, where there is a lack of resource support, to build a supportive, inclusive environment for all children with an emphasis on children with SEN, by including in a training cycle and cascading training for their teams.

The initiative is part of a project activity and will be free of charge for participating kindergartens.

After the presentation of the Handbook, kindergarten managers will be able to apply with a letter of motivation for their inclusion in the upcoming training cycle. The trainings will be held online. We have foreseen 6 topics that correspond to programs of the “Karin Dom” Foundation, approved by the Ministry of Education and Culture. The trainings will include knowledge and skills both for building a supportive, inclusive environment and working with children with SEN, and for developing teaching skills. The trained participants who have passed the cycle will pass on what they have learned to their teams (teachers and support staff) through the so-called cascading training.

Please register in a timely manner, considering the limitations of ZOOM.

The current initiative is a project financed by the “Velux” Foundation and aims to build a partner network.
