Varna Municipality Signed an Agreement

Varna Municipality Signed an Agreement to Work on Karin Dom’s Program – Early Intervention for Prevention of Abandonment of Children with Disabilities.

On February 1, 2011, the Mayor of Varna, Mr. Kiril Yordanov, announced the partnership of the municipality under Karin Dom’s program – Early Intervention for Prevention of Abandonment of Children with Special Needs.

Karin Dom started working on the program in December 2010, and the early intervention team has already conducted home visits and counseling to families in Varna.

The program model uses family-centred approach in which the family is placed at the center of the service, recognizing and developing its strengths and capabilities.
