Open Doors Day at Karin Dom for Children and Their Families

Yesterday we welcomed children, parents and friends from the social sector, specialists, representatives of civic organizations – parent organizations and other social service providers in the city.

We organized this open day in the new therapeutic and educational complex of Karin Dom especially for the children, to familiarize them with the changed environment and their parents with the new opportunities that we will be able to offer.

The guests were welcomed by the executive director of Karin Dom – Borislava Cherkezova together with Zhechka Ivanova – our long-time colleague and teacher, who gave her heart to the children.

We thank all our young and grown guests for the felicitations and the good energy, for the faith and trust!

We believe that every child has the right to make their dreams come true and it is a great joy for us to be able to empower children to walk their own path!

We will do the official ribbon cutting together with partners, donors and children on September 19, 2022.

The meeting was implemented under the project “Transfer of practices to improve support for children with special needs and their families for inclusive education”, financed by the Bulgaria Active Citizens Fund under the Financial Mechanism of the EEA 2014-2021.
