More about Maria Montessori:
Dr. Maria Montessori (1870-1952) is a Doctor of Medicine, a scientist, a psychologist, an anthropologist, an original and brilliant pedagogue, a humanist and a philosopher. She was nominated three times for the Nobel Peace Prize. Maria Montessori creates an educative method based primarily on the development of sensations. Her pedagogical activities are literally revolutionary ideas for her time, and they change the image of the children up to date. “We will need 60 years of hard work to achieve what the child achieves only for the first three years of his life” – these words of Maria Montessori best show why it is important to invest in the first years of our child’s life.
