Additional Support for Children with Special Needs and Their Families at Karin Dom

In 2020, Karin Dom launched a partnership with the Medicor Foundation to provide therapy and counseling to children with special needs and their families. Our good collaboration has led to positive, effective and long-term outcomes in the care and support of children and families. The Medicor Foundation continues its support for Karin Dom for the period 2022-2023, expanding the range of activities to support the development and well-being of children, families and the community as a whole.

The project will cover children with special needs aged 0-8 who visit Karin Dom by providing additional opportunities for inclusion in family groups, education and training for parents and family members, counseling – social and psychological, group activities, guidance for working in a home environment. In the context of the new Karin Dom complex for social, health and educational services for children, our organization will open its doors to more children and families, providing free access to a functional and adapted environment, highly qualified support, health care, hydrotherapy, counseling and diagnostics.

The Medicor Foundation is an independent charitable foundation based in Liechtenstein. It was founded in 1995 thanks to a generous private initiative. The Medicor Foundation is subordinate to the Liechtenstein Foundation Supervisory Authority (STIFA) and is a founding member of the Liechtenstein Association of Charitable Foundations. In addition, the Medicor Foundation is a member of the European Foundation Fund (EFC).
