Dear participants in Karin Dom’s logo competition,
We know that you are eager to find out who our winner is and what impressed our jury.
We are very happy to inform you that the winning design belongs to Vladislava Vidinova. Her project was selected from more than 100 proposed designs by 94 participants. Her logo will be used for the subbrand of Karin Dom – “Montessori House”, which will soon continue its journey as a Montessori kindergarten. Vladi wants to donate her award, to Karin Dom in support of child education using the Montessori Method, and she herself feels that helping children is very close to her work and always carries that cause in her heart.
In the design proposed by Vladi, we were impressed by the childish element of the drawing itself, which has its own uniqueness and author presence. We liked her cheerful radiance, warmth and association with a child’s smile. We liked the overall vision and message.
Here is what Vladi wrote to us: “The logo is a combination of a home – where children feel accepted and where they will receive professional, heartfelt and warm care and a sun-child who joyfully illuminates and warms everyone. The color red is a symbol of kin, love, the color of blood, strength and vitality. In the Christian religion it is associated with the resurrection of Christ.”
We have already contacted our winner and we are ready to tell you a little more about her.
Vladislava Vidinova (Vladi Vidal) was born in 1981 in the town of Kyustendil. She started painting as a child, which naturally predetermined her path as an artist. She graduated from the Iliya Petrov National School of Fine Arts in Sofia, and then graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the National Academy of Arts with a Master’s degree in Book and Printed Graphics.
She has been working in the field of illustration, animation and graphic design for more than 15 years. She is currently working as a designer at the advertising agency GRAFFITI BBDO-Sofia and at the same time is a longtime lecturer in “Graphic Design”, “Drawing and Painting” and “Computer Graphics” at the training center “Net It”, where she has trained more than 500 students, some of whom already have their own careers as designers and artists.
Vladi has participated in a number of large-scale projects, worked for large international companies, has published several children’s books with illustrations in Bulgaria and abroad. She says that in her work she often draws inspiration from the youngest – the children, who always surprise her with their incredible creativity. He is also inspired by great artists, to whom he constantly returns to find something new and to improve herself. But her most exciting projects are those that are charitable or have supported NGOs, because they were aimed directly at changing public attitudes and helping the good in people to flourish.

Vladi is expected very soon in Varna in the new therapeutic center and in the Montessori House – Karin Dom.
