Creative writing as therapy

On June 4th and 5th, 2011, speech therapists Svetlana Angelova and Vania Yordanova from Karin Dom attended a practical course in creative writing techniques and how to apply them for specialized language therapy.
Skills acquired in the course can be used successfully in working with students with special educational needs, children in institutions, people with autism spectrum disorders, and children and adults with psychiatric disorders.
The speech therapists from Karin Dom who participated in the training will apply the lessons learned through various workshops and in their direct work with children, according to the needs and skills of the individual children and groups.
