The celebration under the slogan “We love sport” brought together children, parents, volunteers and friends of the Center. The entertaining programme included dances, relay races and of course – the toning exercises which are part of the daily program of the children visiting Karin Dom. The children attending the Play groups in Karin Dom performed a special Bulgarian horo (dance).
Next was the official opening of the new Learning and Demonstration Center. The Center has a summer kitchen where kids will learn how to prepare tasty meals for themselves and their families. There will be a “Toy Library” from which parents could rent toys and receive guidance on how to use them in the activities with their children. And of course there is a room for trainings, entertainment, meetings, talks and playing for parents and their children.
Karin Dom received many greetings and presents. Kids from the Community Center “Vasil Levski” – Galata performed folk and modern dances and Helin Hassan Hassan presented the beautiful modern ballet “Starfish.”
The celebration continued with a Children Cocktail Party in the garden behind the Center – there was cake, sandwiches, pastries, and many other treats for everyone.
Karin Dom is grateful to all who participated actively in the organization of our holiday and helped us make it so beautiful and special!
