Financing the therapy of children in Karin Dom

For a period of 6 months, the charity organization “KIDS CARE CHARITY” funds the therapy of two children with special needs in the Karin Dom. The organization was registered in 2013 in UK by Desi Lambina.

“Kids Care Charity” works in support of the processes of deinstitutionalization in Bulgaria and actively supports disadvantaged children. The organization supports the therapy and treatment of children with special needs by attracting individual donors, organizing charity campaigns and events by investing 100% of the donations.

Purpose of the project

The project will fund the therapy of two children in Karin Dom, according to their individual needs and treatment plan. The children will be engaged in sessions with physiotherapists, speech therapists, and in the Montessori group – a specialized group for training children with special needs.

Expected results from therapy:

• Stabilization of walking without hand support, improvement of the equilibrium and support reactions, facilitating the active movements, maintaining the symmetry of the body;

• Improved fine motoring. Enriching the passive and active vocabulary of the child;

• Improving day-to-day skills and autonomy
