From the beginning of the school year, up until now, the training team of Karin Dom, had led a series of trainings for specialists from Bulgaria. Among the most preferred and popular subjects were “Sensory Integration” and “Working in a Multisensory Environment.”
As part of the training, the specialists explained the role of the sensory integration in the child’s overall development, clarifying the difference between pure sensory integration therapy, sensorimotor approach and sensory stimulation.
According to the specialists, the sensory integration cannot be observed but the deficiency in both presentation and behaviour can, thus presenting case studies and video materials is a very important part of the training that helps the trainees learn how to analyze and select suitable therapeutic strategies.
