35,000 Leva was Raised by the “Ambassadors of Good” Charity Dinner in Support of Karin Dom. Thank You!

With an elegant charity dinner with a special guest Dr. Rob Dixon, Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the Republic of Bulgaria, Karin Dom celebrated its 25th anniversary. Representatives of business, individual donors and friends of Karin Dom gathered at the Sea Casino, not only to celebrate the significant anniversary, but also to raise funds for the new building of the therapeutic center for children with special needs.

Thank you to all the guests of this special evening for us, that we celebrated together the 25th anniversary of Karin Dom in an unforgettable and exciting way!

We sent the evening with positive emotions, exciting moments, pleasant conversations with old and new friends and partners, a fantastic program and delicious food – and all for the simple reason that in the hearts of so many people shines the warmth of good.

The BGN 35,000 raised will help Karin Dom to purchase the necessary equipment for the new center, the construction of which has already begun. The entire activity of Karin Dom is currently gathered under the roof of the former villa of the Stanchovi family, built in 1908, which does not functionally meet the needs of the organization to develop its therapeutic programs and trainings. This is the reason in 2019 the Municipal Council of the Municipality of Varna to decide to donate land to Karin Dom in order to build a new building. The financing of this new building is provided to Karin Dom by Velux Foundations, and the plot has an area of ​​2450m2 in the central part of Varna. Despite the support that Karin Dom has, the funds will not be enough to finalize and purchase specialized equipment and furniture for the new therapeutic and training center. All those wishing to donate to the cause continue to have this opportunity through the bank accounts of the foundation or through the open DMS number.

Admirations to the host of the evening – the beautiful Maria Sylvester and host of the auction – the favorite of the audience Niki Kanchev. Their energy, positivism and hearts turned the evening into an interactive adventure in which each of the performers, guests and team of Karin Dom had their place and role. We thank the star Polly Genova for the fabulous mood, who took part in the event and the cause of Karin Dom with her favorite performances and her sunny radiance. The talented ladies from Quartet Note and their unique sound of violin, harp, flute and vocals, which gave a unique sound to well-known performances, as well as Malambo Dance School, which captivated us to the rhythm of salsa and bachata with their charm and stage presence.

The first Bulgarian child to win the Prize at the most prestigious Youth American Grand Prix in Paris – Yanitsa Georgieva from Fouetté Dance Studio, who as she said “with dance I give part of myself and express empathy for the world of others” and little Monica Georgieva, who performed the poem “Kindness”. We also thank the stars of the Bulgarian sports scene Hristo Stoichkov and Tsvetan Sokolov for recognizing the cause of Karin Dom as their own and sending both their personal wishes and donated items for the auction. Among the surprises of the evening were the culinary demonstration of Chef Hugh Buten and Chef Kaloyan Kolev from the Culinary Arts Institutes at Varna University of Management, as well as the charity auction, which took place thanks to all those who donated valuables and experiences: Vladimir Iliev, Ivaylo Evstatiev , Vardarki, Stella Canfield, Diyan Dimitrov, Culinary Institute, Varna Cellar, Georgi Sekulidis, Dimitar Berbatov, Darik Radio, BFU, Justin Toms, Zoritsa Valeva, Topola Skys, CorCaroli, Plamen Mihailov, Arte Class Varna.

The charity dinner “Ambassadors of Good” would not be possible without the PR agency HYPE communication and Denitsa Ivanova, who once again were with us in this challenging endeavor and proved that professionalism can not exist without heart and soul.

The evening happened thanks to the Intermusic agency – sound and technical support, for turning the location into a magical space we thank the Sea Casino and Cellar Varna, Marbal and Loni, Flowers Belfleur and Kalina Markova – interior design. Galatea Cooperative, Kina Kudeva – Hairdresser and Studio Mascara. Thanks also to the graphic designer Atanas Lazarov, who created the vision, as well as to our media partners Moreto.net, Varna24 and EpayGo. Thanks to our charming hostesses, who tonight replaced social work with welcoming our special guests!

After the long isolation and impossible meetings, we finally had the opportunity to celebrate together the brave dreams that became a reality in the name of the children and we could not share all this with you if it were not for Yana Peneva – photographer and Redzheb Shabanov – video – they have been part of Karin Dom’s family for many years.
