Supporting Children and Professionals in Devnya

Within the Karin Dom on Wheels project, funded by the Carl Kahane Foundation, Karin Dom specialists continue to support children and their families, as well as specialists from the kindergarten “Nezabravka” in the town of Devnya.

With the assistance of Mrs. Radostina Georgieva, director of the kindergarten, a team of psychologist and a rehabilitator from Karin Dom held a talk with teachers from the three branches. The topic was finding the appropriate approach and words when the pedagogical staff communicates with parents about challenges in the behavior or development of their children observed during their visit to the day care center.

In the summer months, the Karin Dom team can conduct their visits outdoors with the campervan specially purchased for the mobile activities. The visits are filled with games and fun for the little ones and the provision of useful information and guidance to parents after observation and consultation with their children by our professionals.
