The Admission Process
During the past 15 years Karin Dom has developed a procedure for admission of children with special needs; this procedure is open, impartial and the criteria embedded in it are directed entirely to the children needs.
The team assessment performed by Karin Dom specialists is the basis for the choice of a programme in which the child will participate in the Center.
At the moment 140 children participate in the different programmes and each child receives therapies consistent to their individual and unique needs and abilities.
The admission procedure is a door which Karin Dom opens with a will to help more children with special needs. The inclusion of children - who Karin Dom has no capacity to accept at the moment of submission - in a waiting list is part of the procedure and a necessity for Karin Dom to help all.
Your help through donations, Christmas cards purchases and child's therapy support is extremely important for reducing the number of the children in the waiting list and for their inclusion in vital therapies.
